MM153: Better than 1080HD, Apple TV Streams TV, MIT's Invisible Mouse

0

YouTube broke news yesterday (Friday) at the VidCon conference that they will now be supporting a higher def video source that’s FOUR times better than 1080p. It’s dubbed “4k” and when you see these 4k videos, you’ll simply be amazed at how crisp, detailed and awesome they are. We show you what 4k HD looks like, as much as we can with our 1080p HD podcast, but more importantly how it will change the HD landscape for web video viewing. This new HD technology is mind-blowing and it makes IMAX theaters look like SD. If you’d like to see 4k HD YouTube videos with your own eyes, click here.

Also, MIT researches have done it again – another project that has all the geeks squealing with delight. What’s the point in a mouse when you can just use your hand to move around the table? Well that’s exactly what they’ve created and it’s called Mouseless. You have to check this out to believe it – it’s a really cool project that could make computer mice completely go away.

Last but not least, Apple TV update rumors are becoming more and more apparent and we have the latest on what is rumored to be coming to the much needed Apple TV – not only will there be a completely overhauled and new set top box, but we have the latest report that will make you want an Apple TV thanks to a potential change in the way iTunes may allows us to watch TV shows. Trust me, this new model of watching your favorite TV shows via iTunes is MUCH BETTER than having to buy an episode to watch your favorite TV show.
