MM171: Blackberry Playbook, Twitter Promoted Accts, PropUp Winners
0I’ve had to take a week off from the Moxie Mo Show, but I’m glad to say I’m back with the hottest tech news of the week! Also, we have our winners of the PropUp iPad Stand Giveaway, so make sure you watch the end to see if you won!
The biggest tech story of the day belongs to RIM’s Blackberry Playbook tablet. As we speculated in Moxie Mo Show #163, we’re pleased to show you RIM’s new Blackberry Tablet and surprisingly, it’s better than we had thought - we’ll show you why this could be a game changer for RIM/Blackberry and if it will actually hold its weight to the iPad. There’s definitely one draw-back with the Blackberry Playbook, but you’ll be amazed at the rest of the power it holds.
Also, Twitter is back in the news – after a huge redesign that we covered in Moxie Mo Show #169, Twitter is now allowing you the chance to gain more followers… by paying for them. Their new feature, Promoted Accounts, will allow your profile to be seen by millions of people – but guess how much it will cost? We show you exactly what Twitter is trying to do by allowing businesses and brands to gain more followers while also putting dollars in Twitter’s pockets.
Last but not least, some housekeeping issues: we have our two winners of our PropUp Stand for the iPad – the most comfortable and useful iPad stand I’ve had the chance to review. If you didn’t win, it’s NOT TOO LATE to buy the PropUp at an unbelievable low price by clicking here at the PropUp Store! Hurry – October 1st is when they begin to ship! And, finally – after covering one of the moxiest gadgets of the year, the Dyson Air Multiplier back in July, I am happy to report I have this blade-less fan in my hands – it’s finally mine to keep and it’s worth it! It’s the moxiest and coolest fan I have ever seen for your home or office!

MM170: New PropUp For iPad – Best iPad Case and Giveaways!
0Thanks to a dear friend from high school who has been watching the Moxie Mo Show, she sent me via Facebook to meet a man who has come up with a new iPad Stand. At first, I shrugged my shoulders as I assumed this would be like any other iPad stand out there and what’s the point in covering something that isn’t new or fresh? Well, to my surprise, Todd Andrews has created what I believe to be a hugely selling iPad accessory that grips easily around your iPad, but never lets your iPad fall when held upside down, it’s that durable.
It’s purpose is to let you use your iPad anywhere – on the couch, the seat, the bed, the floor or even in the professional space such as your desk and even perfect for centering it around a table for presentations. The PropUp isn’t made out of ordinary things – they use a secret blend of foam that not only keeps your iPad held tightly without ever damaging your iPad, but also allowing you to even cover your iPad if your already own an iPad protector screen. We will show you during our interview with the creator of PropUp just how easy it is to use, to put on and to take off, all the while making it the best iPad accessory for lounging, watching TV in bed or reading a book on your kitchen table thanks to the PropUp for the iPad.
The PropUp is simply made for all of us iPad users who wish we could find that perfect blanket or pillow to prop up our iPad while we are reading, surfing the web, Facebooking, gaming, and so on and so forth – finally, my friend, Todd Andrews has FOUND THE SECRET. They’ve created the first of its kind, the PropUp for the iPad!
As you watch this special, the Moxie Mo is amazed at how impressed he was because of the cost as well as something else – you’ll have to watch. For all information on PropUp and their new website, click here (after watching the video!)
And to make things even moxier, the Moxie Mo Show has TWO giveaways -two PropUps that we’re giving away to whomever leaves a comment at www.moxiemoshow.com/170 (comment section) explaining why they should receive one. The Moxie Mo will pick two of the best answers (hints are inside the video, if you want a chance of winning) and YOU WILL WIN the PropUp for your iPad before anyone else even gets theirs!
You can also pre-order for your very own, very inexpensive and very awesome PropUp now just by going to their website and pre-ordering. We have ALL the details in the episode!
