MM166: Apple's New iPods, iTunes, Ping and New Apple TV
1Yesterday was a big day for Apple and that’s an understatement. As most of you have heard by now, Apple had their annual Fall event to go over their new products right in time for the holiday shopping season – but this time, this event wasn’t just a new iPod upgrade – it had something for everyone, including iPhone and iPad owners as well as those who want their HD TVs revolutionized with a tiny but powerful new set-top box called the new Apple TV.
In fact, there is so much to cover, this is one of our longest episodes yet – so please don’t let that scare you as I promise you, Apple’s new gadgets and software coming out in the next few weeks will revolutionize your digital life – which is what the Moxie Mo Show is all about.
So where do we begin? We will show you the new iTunes 10, which ties all of your iDevices together and why iTunes 10 is the biggest iTunes ever – it comes with its very own social network, which is a first for Apple. Ping, the music social network that connects YOU with artists and friends (like Facebook on Twitter but within iTunes) will change the way we socially interact via music. Just wait til you see it!
Also, Apple didn’t just refresh their entire iPod line - they completely overhauled and reinvented their entire iPod line – we show you the new iPod Shuffle, the completely new iPod Nano (with a NEW feature) and the very popular iPod Touch which will be the biggest Christmas gift of this season (I’m betting on it now!) for the 2010 holiday! Why? Just wait until you see what Apple has done with the new iPod Touch, ESPECIALLY if you don’t want to buy an iPhone 4 because of AT&T or already own another smart phone.
And, as the Moxie Mo accurately predicted… Apple’s new Apple TV is no longer “just a hobby.” For the first time in 6 years, this new Apple TV will be THE entertainment gadget for ALL of our homes. It’s cheap, incredibly small and easily connects your HDTV to all of your iDevices as well as streams beautiful HD TV shows and HD movies with a whole bunch of NEW FEATURES including….. Netflix! Why wouldn’t you buy the Apple TV after you see what it does!
The Apple Fall Event wasn’t just for the music and TV lovers and the Moxie Mo will also discuss what iPhone and iPad owners can expect with the new iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2 – tons of new features and bug fixes and it’s all coming very soon. Now, are you ready to watch? What are you waiting for? Click PLAY and watch the Moxie Mo Show talk about the biggest Apple event of the summer, if not the year!
